Pysch is about awesomeness.
I'd explain it, but I feel someone else could do a better job.
The gist of it is a crime-solving duo. One is a "psychic" (in reality, he just has acute observation skills). The other is a pharmaceutical rep, basically his sidekick. They get into all sorts of shenanigans.

I've seen the commercials and it appears that the 2 stars have great buddy chemistry but other than that, I have no idea what it is about.

Its a comedy. So it's not an overly serious crime show. It's unrealistic, but that's what you expect from it.
I would highly suggest you check out at least an episode or two. New season starts Tuesday. There was a big cliffhanger to end last season, but you could still enjoy the show if you pick it up with the new season and go back and watch the older seasons later.

psych is about two actors that have great chemistry and there are tons of references from shows and movies back in the day. show makes me  alot. im so stoked its back wednesday
I will throw bar rescue in to my list. i normally hate the kitchen nightmare etc but this show is funny and interesting

I only say that because there's really not alot of threads about it......ever.
But the ratings say it's one of CBS' most watched shows.

I might check it out. I'm not so much into fluff type shows or comedies unless they are really well done. How many seasons have there been?

The cast and stories are top notch. It's worth checking out.

To each his own. The US version has really come into it's own and pulled away a bit from the UK version's formula.
It's very entertaining and the Jersey guy is great for one thing. Wrecking cars spectacularly. When he jumped that Caddie in season one it one of the funniest moments of any Top Gear show I had ever seen.

season 8 is about to start.. i wouldnt just pick it up now much better to watch from the beginning and there was kinda a big cliffhanger last season so it will ruin some stuff for you. And its better if you have the characters set up for you. will make it a lot more funny

I think checking out an episode or two to see if you like it wouldn't hurt.
If you have Netflix, I'd watch from the beginning. Though the first season starts off kinda slow in my opinion, so it might not be the best way to see if you like the show.
