Chris Canetti (The prez) said it would be a EPL team. In our charities match.

Last year was Valencia, and Bolton the year before

ETA: and word on the street is that it will be a big time club, because it wasn't included in the season tickets, when the charities match is normally a low attended event

Yeah, I'm growing to tolerate the white sleeves. They don't look as bad as I originally thought.

The Dynamo really need to invest in a creative center mid. Moffat and Rico Clark are sooo slow at moving the ball and creating anything for Will Bruin and now Omar Cummings. They have plenty of direct and clever players out wide with Boniek on the right and Brad Davis on the left.

I agree. At first, I liked Moffat, but he is beginning to annoy the shite out of me. I remember attending a Champions league game last year where the coaches must've told him that he needs to work on moving the ball quicker. I don't feel like I am embellishing when I say 90% of the time when the ball came to him, he attempted a one touch pass. It was weird.

Few things for Saturday:

DeRo suspended for first two games of season for preseason headbutt

So we don't have to face him.

Cummings shelved for 6 weeks following knee surgery

And apparently cam weaver is nicked up too.

So who knows how the forwards will look. Might be forced to start chingy. Although I highly doubt they do that

Damn, and not having Carr back yet doesn't help anything. The formation should be interesting.

Looks like our first round pick Johnson might get a start.

quote:

Jason Johnson. The reigning Atlantic-10 Offensive Player of the Year scored 26 goals with 10 assists in three years at Virginia Commonwealth University.

quote:

"Very, very good striker and dangerous all over the field ... Has a hunger to score goals ... His forte is getting behind defenders and making good runs. He's very mobile ... Very athletic, decent technically and a pretty good finisher ... Dangerous from 30 yards in ... Athleticism is his greatest asset ... Has all the tools. He's fit and strong enough ... At the Player Combine his stock will go up ... Left-sided ... Keeps you honest ... Wants to get the ball and be dangerous with it ... He can go on and do well ... Johnson joins in the attack and helps build ... Good work rate ... Sometimes he does switch off and does not put in a complete effort. He takes breathers here and there. But improved throughout 2012

Generation Adidas player. Jamaican international.

Meh.

Yeah, I didn't care for them at first, really like them with the orange shorts though.

Almost game time!
