What is the overall purpose of keeping him around? I see a lot of talk about trading ivory instead who I assume makes less than Ingram and is way more productive.

Keeping a RB that they traded up for and drafted in the first round, and that you must assume they believe will eventually be the feature back on the roster (or the closest thing this offense has to a feature back)? That got progressively better over the course of last season and is finally heatlhy? That might be it?

Payton is separated from his wife. He's trying to keep his kids happy.

He's a first round pick in only his third year. He's not costing us a lot of money and he got better as the year went on last season.

I just think Ivory proved a long time ago what he is capable of. I understand he gets bit by the injury bug a good bit but up until the last 5 or 6 games Ingram has been pretty below average IMO.

Well Ivory had his chance last year. He was eventually activated and getting carries then he was once again injured.

Yea I remember now. I see where everyone is coming from now in regards to keeping Ingram. I just hope his production continues as it did toward the end of the season. That averaging 3 yards a carty gotta go if he wants to be a premiere back

More carries and we'll see

if his 2 year stat line was one season I don't think anyone would be complaining...

278 carries
1076yds
3.9 ypc
10 TDs
17 catches
1 fumble

take that back, yes, some would be complaining

idk if thats a fair stat though. hes put in a lot of short yardage situations where he wont have the chance to get a lot of yards. i really think we have to get rid of some RBs. you NEED consistency so a guy put something together. if you are constantly in and out of the game, youll never get a rhythm.

i think thats why we ran so well with sproles hurt.

None. Zero. Nada.

The coaches and Payton are blind and not as knowledgable about football as you and Chad.

Please post this to the Saints. We need people like you and chad speaking truth to power.

Bless you guys

You ask TD posters why x is on the Saints?
Whos's the jackass?
He's on the team because thats where CSP wants him.
His stats, playing time YPC has been talked about in 1,424 threads.
Sorry you missed those.
It was your shitforbrains question not mine.

I'm confused, were we signing Revis or drafting Patterson?
