Investopedia.com is a good one. They have a real time stock and options simulator, and have a boatload of information for beginning investors.
I don't use a stock simulator, I play with real money. Just because you pick a couple of stocks that do well in a risk free simulator, does not mean you're ready to jump in the tank with the sharks. The best teacher is experience, sometimes painful experience.
