you said 3-4. Broham set the line at 2 and you're all-in with "A" beer....

I'll bet a case we don't get 4 in double digits.

He said he would bet that we don't have 2. Should I have said to hell with your 2, I'll bet you that we have 3 by the time there are 7 games left in the season? That doesn't make much sense. Should I have offered him 1,000 bucks because I was so confident. Just trying to make a friendly wager? Would you feel better if I bought Broham a 6 pack? 12 pack?

I have stated I don't think we will get 4. If we have some breakout seasons we could possibly get there, but I don't think 4 will happen. I think that we have 4 guys that have the POTENTIAL to do it. That doesn't mean I am going to bet that it WILL happen.

I will say, I am glad baseball season is in full swing and we get to banter back and forth.

Read the last sentence above. I'm having a great time discussing baseball and shooting the shite back and forth.

I would be happy to pony up and hand over a 12 pack at a ball game, as long it means there is a tailgate.

regional, super, and omaha all count toward the season though. that's alot of extra games for someone with 8 or 9 to hit a couple

Right. We could easily end up playing upwards of 70 games this year.

I'm sticking with 3. If not 3, then 2 with someone very very close.

How many starting pitchers reach double digit wins???

There's not a doubt in my mind that those should be the team's first 3 hitters in the lineup, although how you decide on 1-2-3 is more subjective.

Everyone knows but:

Les East ?@EastAdvocate
Aaron Nola will be #LSU's starting pitcher vs. BYU on Thursday. Ty Ross back at catcher. Tyler Moore the DH.

Nothing new today, but I believe Hanagriff said on the radio that he should be ready to make his season debut next week in the ULL game.

I don't think we will hit a lot of HRs this season, but we have two guys in Jacoby Jones and Mason Katz who swing as hard as they can on every pitch. They have just as good a shot to hit double digits HRs as anyone in the conference. I wouldn't bet against either of them getting to double digits.

Hanigriff did say that

I honestly think Bregman will get into double digits or come close. Ross as well.

Weather is not looking good at all tomorrow. I know some of you were worrying about Nola starting, you might get your wish.
