| Cameron's Approach (Posted on 2/17/13 at 8:55 pm)
One thing that stood out to me and that I really liked from CC's press conference is he said that he would find out what Mett can and can't do and tailor to the offense to his strong suits. This is something I don't think Stud did last season. They may have asked too much of him by having him coming out slinging the ball from the get go instead of knowing which throws he can and can't make and adjusting accordingly. Thoughts?

Well, considering they actually ran the option with Mett last year...

I think we get a heavy dose of Play action passing...Caveat, the offensive line and receiver play(lack if catching ability) had a lot to do with Big Met's performance in 2012...if that line holds and the receivers catch the ball i think Big Mett will show up and show out!!!

Every coach tailors the plays to the personnel, it's coaching 101.

Yes I am sure about that. For any coach above high school level at any rate, and for many of them in high school as well. You always do your game planning and play design around what your players can and can't do.

You must be watching different teams than most of us on here do... All kidding aside (at least I hope you weren't being serious in that you believe every coach does that!), ideally that is what should happen. In reality, too many coaches try to do something different from the actual skillsets possessed by their players.

I don't know how well Coach Cam can teach accuracy. If Mett can get that down on his deeper throws, we will be pretty set on offense.

LSU's problem has been player development and execution. Can Cam Cameron, get this offense taught, improve execution and develop players.
