Best Call of Duty?

The last 3 that have come out have been progressively worse. MW2 was a good game and the first COD I really got into. I had played World at War but it never really amounted to anything. I have friends who have played the COD series throughout and they say it is going downhill.

4 was my favorite
WaW was awesome
MW2 was frustrating, but addicting and fun when you got something going.
Blops was meh

Campaign was long, and great. NO red dawn crap. COD2 being second with another great campaign.
Multiplayer was great, had some of the best maps in the series. too bad you couldn't get 9v9 on the large maps.
From there, it took a dump, slowly.
