He started out as working at a jail and now he's a cop. He's real small town, never amounted to much, so I understand his career path.
My concern is this:
He's always on Facebook while he's working. He takes pictures of the tickets he's writing, uploads them and comments on Facebook about them.
Several times.
He constantly takes pictures of himself in full uniform while at work with gun on hand. I know he's stupid and all, but is that even legal?

Why are you so concerned with this guy. You don't seem to think to highly of him. So why the concern at all.

He's just giving away people's info like it's nothing..
I would be a little upset having my name, driver's license and plate on somebody's social network.
But hey, that's just me i guess

When you go to police training and flunk the mental tests, they give you a job as a jailer. That may explain some things.

Well, yeah, he's definitely stupid. But if the tickets identify anyone, I'm pretty sure it's "illegal" or subject to legal action.

A ticket is a summons. A summons is an arrest.

What I would do is screensave the tickets and his posts.
Then go to the media with it. What area are we talking about? DOn't want ot know the town but where, NE La, South LA, East Texas?

Lots of court websites post upcoming traffic court cases.
For example, in my jurisdiction (Arlington County) the General District Court website has searchable details of upcoming traffic cases. There's a case with a hearing date in two days at 8:30am for Darryl Wonder Bias (a black male with no fixed address), charged with loitering and obstructing traffic.
Also on that date at 8:30 is a hearing for Ernest Eric Lekser (a Caucasian male from Alexandria) for 1st offense DWI. He was arrested on 11/11/2012 and is on bail. His birthdate is 3/13.
I've never heard of either of these two upstanding citizens before, but if I had the site is searchable by name as well.
So although your cop friend is being a dick and may be violating some policy somewhere, this sort of info can be public.
