ESPN

Alec Ogletree recently got arrested for DUI. He is projected as the top ILB to get drafted and could possibly go in the top 10. He was suspended 4 games earlier in the season for failed drug tests. Seems like Minter is the only ILB out of the top 3 without any baggage.

Honestly I think Minter is better, him being a classy guy is just bonus for him in the draft

We'll see. I think ogletree is going to blow up at the combine and really impress. I don't think it will ever translate to the field though in the NFL. He was good at UGA but never really lived up to the hype. Minter won't put up the combine numbers but he's a better football player.

I think Minter will take Ray Lewis's spot at the Ravens and it will be a match made in heaven behind that D-line for him.

Hopefully ogletree falls down far enough for the Saints to snag him. Don't think that'll happen though, he will still go high. Minter will go late first to a good team and be a steal

Seems like the Saints roster is full of guys who can potentially play ILB. What they need to land are 3-4 DE's, 3-4 OLB's, and a huge NT.

I'm not sure he falls that far, but he definitely won't make it past the Ravens.

I think Minter will put up great combine numbers. He's very fast and fluid. I would think his 40 and shuttle will be great. I can't guess about things like bench press, but he sure hits hard, so I imagine he has power. The only thing I'm unsure of is his coverage ability. I don't know why I don't have a better read on this after about 18 games of him starting, but I don't.

Olgetree is going to blow up the combine, he's an incredible athlete. I think it's more likely Minter jumps Te'o than Olgetree.

I love minter but there is no way he is jumping Ogletree.

O will be a top 10 pick and will be good in the NFL.

Mel Kiper moved Minter up his draft board because he bangs real chicks.

Do not forget about Ogletree's 2010 arrest and one game suspension stemming from his involvement in the theft of a scooter helmet.

No homer but if I was a NFL gm is would draft minter ahead of the rest. He is not flashy, seems to be a high character guy, make tackles and sets the defense is good positions.

I was comparing what minter might do at the combine to what ogletree will. Not saying minter won't perform well.

Ogletree is an outside linebacker. Minter is a middle linebacker. Any team looking at Ogletree has a need at OLB. If a team has a specific need at OLB, i dont see how Ogletree's situation helps Minter at all unless they also have need at MLB.
