Does anyone know how we were able to get this guy away from La Tech? I know his Father must be like royalty over there as the by far the best men's basketball to ever play at that little place.
Kinda surprising that KMJ wouldnt go there to me.
I was wondering if it had anything to do with the way they screwed their players out of their bowl game experience. I do know he was vocal about the incompetence of the AD about it.
All the perks the kid would get.
Big man on Campus- theres some real fine perks to that one.
Malone Sr getting his own perks from the school because of this. Hum just smells funny to me. But u cant blame a kid for wanting to play for the Tigers and the SEC.

Had nothing to do with this. KJ committed to LSU a long time before that went down. I met him back in the spring and he had on an LSU shirt. He's been all LSU for a while.

As far as Malone being more "Athletic," you obviously don't know much about Bradshaw. He was a very mobile QB, ran very well, and held the LHSAA Javelin Record for 30 years.

Word up here in NELA was that Tech really put the pressure on him and his family to be loyal to the local school...but that's Tech for ya, thinking they're on a level they're not

Yeah, I think Karl let his kid decide. For football, its a no-brainer IMO. Lots of exposure, and a chance at a NC..

Probably he realized LSU is a bigger school, if he has aspirations to become a NFL player this is the school to go to.
