Aw ruined the surprise. Yeah If I were you I would make sure to find Sif and free him to help you. THe only reason I won was because I had the Artorias Greatshield that kept up with his attacks. I didnt have the wolf to help me.

and yet another: things that were easy with ranged magical attacks but suck with melee attacks...

I was watching some videos and it is amazing the intricacy of the plot when you start to analyze it.
there is plenty of detail to be found, but it requires you to fill in some blanks.

apparently I'm pretty good at melee.
nito was a stroke of dumb luck though. I don't know how I killed him on my first attempt. shite was going poorly.
I just charged him rambo style. dual wielded and swung my dark knight halberd until he was dead.

I love that guy because hes so easy. I always have a holy weapon for his minions though.
I swear im fricking terrible at this level. Once I get to the crystal caves I trip over every pebble and fall 100 stories..

Look to the right and you should see a long bridge. Go there and when you hear tapping you will be close to a bonfire and a blacksmith. Thats a good safe zone. Avoid the big black knight until you get to that bonfire.

finally got my str up to 50.
I'm gonna show artorias the business end of havel's shield.
the guardians can't break my guard. I love it.
ETA: burning through humanity at an incredible rate trying to get solid phantoms.
artorias is a dead man.
I bought Artoria's armor off of the NPC that lives under the bridge in firelink. pretty crazy looking.
been trying my hand at PvP, defending the forest. Pretty shitty at it. 1 for 3 at the moment.

Was reading a little on how to play some co-op so I could join friends sometime.
I had no idea how in depth this game really is. I figured it would be a one play-thru kind of game but it looks like it will have great replay value considering the co-op and pvp aspects.
Played it for a few minutes this morning before I left for work. I didn't want to leave and now I just want to go home
