I purchased the Dark Souls dlc some time ago and I made a new character to finally experience said extra content.
I had forgotten exactly how much fun Sen's Fortress was. I want to shatter my controller in an act of pure joy.
Anybody else sharing in my misery or has this game become entirely old hat at this point?

using a knight with elite knight armor and a black knight halberd.
I'll probably swap out at some point, but it's doing the job so far.

I want to play this game so bad and own it, but the required controller makes it a never play for me. Master race cannot adapt.

it's been more environmental hazards than anything. I'll be fending off the enemy and either a swinging blade or gravity will do me in.
Might as well equip it for a minute or two and see how it performs, I give it my seal of approval.
Dourden: I'm xbox, so I can't sympathize entirely, but its an awesome game. sorry the port was less than favorable.
ETA: Finally made it back to Anor Lando. Sen kept me busy for a while.

I haven't died at that part one time. My first time, I found a super easy strategy on accident that works every time. Once there's an opening, sprint up the ramp and turn right towards the archer. When he pulls out his sword, sprint back down to the safe zone. He will fall and die. AFter that, just go back to where the knight on the right was and round the corner to safety.

I had an easy time of it the first time I played, but I have had an absolute bitch of a time every time since.
I'm familiar with that strategy, but I always manage to get caught by an arrow flung by the other dickhole that has a vantage point the entire fricking time you're contending with the first knight.
it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to trudge a mile in between attempts.
