I have a canoe with a 2.5 suzuki on it and would like to piddle with it this afternoon. Any good options? Does LSU lakes allow outboards?

Stay off the Diversion and Amite due to high water. LPSO just shut down all the waterways at noon today...

Intracoastal at port Allen. There's actually a landing way back in back Brusly that's a good place to put in without a ton of boat traffic or fast moving water.

We are fine, just to the top of the boardwalk, I would expect very little rise left down here, perhaps another inch or two. This northwest wind coming will really help push the water out...

Ramah is about 30 minutes away and an easy launch. Small water so it would be perfect for your canoe.

This. I kayak this area all the time. Lookup Floyd's Marina- brusly, la on google maps. Hole in the wall bar with a launch.

If you can keep the wake down to a minimal size, I pretty shore Nascar would let you used he puddle (pond).

Is it Floyd's now? It was Morleys last time I was there. Serious dive with cheap Red Stripe and some mangy locals.

Why not get one of those hose attachments that they sell at Academy and do it in your drive way?

Looks like we are both correct-

It says "Floyd's" on the outside of it but when I googled it it came back; Floyd's Morley Marina
