re: Supposedly Gordon has been having this injury for a while

I don't know why people are panicking over Gordon right now. This season was always going to a be a rebuilding one, why not give Gordon the same treatment as we're giving Monty and the rest of the team? Give them one full off season and then we really start to judge next year. We have Gordon under contract for two more years and it's not like his trade value could go any lower. The smart move is keep him until next year and if we're still struggling at next years all-star break then we look at moving him

Because rebuilding years are supposed to leave you confident about the core of your team for the future. And right now, I have very little confidence that the player we just gave a max contract to and are planning to build around can be a consistently healthy player. I don't doubt that he wants to be here, I don't doubt his abilities on the court, but in his time he he has been fragile and hurt way too much. He needs to start playing soon or I will be concerned about the next few years for this team

but it seems like he probably won't be 100% until next season, which doesn't bother me too much.
ya, i don't really care if he's fully healthy until the last year of his deal...then, we could really use him

We're only in year one of this contract after a year of a previous contact. And in that year and a half he's hardly played.
As I said in my above post, its not time to panic, but this is concerning. We can't keep blowing this off forever
amen

So here's the deal as I understand it. Gordon had an injury in one spot, then had the other. Since they were near one another, he was advised not to play and got an MRI. He allegedly wanted to play but did not go against that advice.
Since the MRI was clean (just a sprain), he's day-to-day.
Take it how you will.
If it's in error, all apologies.
