After doing some reading on Westdale Heights magnet school I was left with a very good impression. Seems like the school is great. My question is related to the difficulty of admission. What is the criteria, and how difficult is it to get a child into the school? The website very vaguely explained the admission process and did not give an acceptance percentage.

Call the school and ask them, they will give you the best info.

Magnet schools can be very secretive about admission information details to avoid lawsuits. If they have an aff action policy and let in minorities with lower scores than whites they can get sued.
