that little barb surprised me. Podolski clearly isn't the most talented German, but he's a stalwart selection for any and every big game Der Mannschaft play.

Really odd article. And all of those shots you listed are, quite frankly, stupid.
Of all our transfers in recent years, Poldi is criticized?
Lower income fans are the die hards and this guy is ON IT!
The English national team is in pretty good shape at the moment going forward, especially with technically skilled young players who have undoubtedly improved from the league's transformation.

That was the best part of the article certainly. The Bundesliga is fun to watch. Hope it catches on more.

Really wish Fox Soccer would try to buy the rights now that it's losing the Premier League and has already lost La Liga and Serie A.
Can't survive on just UEFA competition and SPL.

I'm a bit surprised to see the comment about the French. The national team is clearly a big deal, so I'm a little surprised the league is struggling so much.

I'm all for more soccer leagues being visible on most cable providers. I currently enjoy watching Bayern Munich from the Bundesliga, but that is just because they are the most visible. I'd love to pick a less popular team and be able to follow them like I follow Arsenal.

My mother's maiden name is Dudenhefer. I think it would be cool to try to figure out where the name derives from in Germany and pick the nearest team.

HH and I are the resident FCB fans, you're welcome to join us. but if you're looking for a "lower profile" club then HSV like WSE mentioned or the new boys Eintracht Frankfurt who look more and more like they will actually qualify for Champions League next year. Gladbach is also a decent choice. I'm sure you know about the germericans' respective teams as well if youre into that kind of thing.

young squad, score a lot of goals, good fans. alexander meier is very good player, also sebastian jung on the RB has been playing well. sebastian Rode is one of the better CM prospects in germany, Takashi Inui is a nice japanese playmaker. Probably the most important thing though, is their home record- i believe they are on 7 wins 3 draws and 1 loss

having been to a psg vs. marsellies match in october, i can vouch for this. looked like loads of trash. my wife was supposed to go with me, but she ended up getting sick and my father in law came instead. i'm honestly really glad it happened that way, because it was probably a 50:1 men to women ratio and i didn't see a single child.
it was still a hell of a time and the people that were there were definitely wild.
