I'm lost and have no idea what's going on but then again, I've been working my arse off the past 2 weeks and haven't been able to keep up with the MT as much as I like (especially the Coin Thread).

It doesn't seem odd to anyone that the guy opens up a credit card and the VERY NEXT DAY is considering the Dave Ramsey financial peace program?
The first thing Dave Ramsey would do would be to tell him to throw the thing in the shredder.

So he opens up his first credit card one day and wants to start the financial peace Dave Ramsey program the next? 
He obviously doesn't know what the program is about

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, since those are pretty common questions.
Now if his next few questions are about how to get a house for zero down, whether he should buy whole life, or if the multi-level-marketing du jour is a good deal...
Then I might get suspicious.
