Since my base change, I have gotten attacked 9 times, all of them have went straight for my TH and that's it
My last base had the th outside and it never got his like this, it keeps eating up my clan castle troops which is my only concern

I think placing your TH in a position so that people are forced to attack it is the way to go.
What I mean is the TH takes a ton of hit points, if you can position it so that enemy troops naturally get funneled to the TH, your defenses can do work on attacking troops while they are tearing down the town hall. Same applies to the clan castle. By placing your TH on the outside, attackers can avoid the town hall altogether which is a missed opportunity I think bc it takes so long to bring down.
My next design will have the CC in the middle next to my DE/archers. I will prob have the TH in there as well.

A popular one I've noticed is a TH on outside of 1 wall, however surrounded by bomb/tesla/traps so that people focus on it but unless they have good troops they fail regardless. You have a mortar/wizard tower/cannon close enough to attack but not so close to scare away possible attackers.

That's how mine is setup. I'll lose 1000/1000 coin/elixir, ~10 trophies, while gaining a free 12 hr shield.

Ya the best setups are the ones that bait you into attacking a certain area and you don't realize this until it's too late.

You have a great setup. If they come from the north they are forced to attack your TH and your mortars will take them out. Coming from the south and they will hit the majority of your defense with the surprise tesla action. Coming from the east and west would be difficult bc its hard to gauge which direction your troops will go when coming from that side.

My Wizard towers are still at level 2. That shite needs to be upgraded along with my mortars. I have so much stuff to upgrade but I don't want to just have goblins to donate...
