I remember hearing all kinds of talk years ago that in certain prophecies, Benedict was the 2nd to last Pope before Armageddon

I agree with the other posters. There's a zero chance of an American becoming pope.. There's too much hubris that comes with the American (USA) brand.

The last Pope has been prophecized to be the LAST Pope and named Peter by some means (either literally or chosen Papal name) and other prophets said to be literally a black man. Sometimes described as black as in antiPope and or skin color as well. To align: in evil (the antichrist and the antipope)

Don't know about all that but stay tuned. Some pretty damning information is about to come out on this Pope, involving child molestation.
I've been saying for a year or so now this will happen. It's the begining of the end for the Catholic Church

I would not be surprised if a black man became pope considering 4/5 of the world are people of some other color than white. And no, I believe in all that conspiracy stuff.

I wonder if the next Pope does sound like Obama and goes all liberal and he gets married to a man and say all guns must be collected and new world order in communism is cool and we must all hug trees and love marxism...
IF... when he is criticized for such things if people will be called racist? Will Chrissie Matthews say the antipope is the man they have been waiting for?
Crap! All's we need is a sign in the sky (Will Obama's picture appear in the sky saying all bow to me now?   ) and Israel to be surrounded by armies.

well, 2/3rd's of the population is Asian. so, I guess Kim Xuan Ong is going to be the next pope.

The prophecy supposedly is clear that there could be popes in between Benedict and the last Pope but the last one will be associated with the name Peter. But rumors have the man who reigns from Africa named Peter as: set to take the throne of the papacy. He has said he is ready to be Pope. He will parrot Obamas 'unity in diversity' and heil the UN in with global order and currency. The pre-curser antichrist Obama, the anti christ (the 12th Imam) and the antipope will fight on whose teleprompter and picture is honored more and whose picture is on the world coin currency.

Watch for these two as heavy favorites for the papal crown.
Cardinal Angelo Scola
Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi
Both of them are excellent communicators and extremely bright. They bring a little bit of JPII charisma.
