Rivals

It doesn't seem like we have offered this guy yet. Since we have been making national inroads (and we have taken about 1 player from GA for the past few years), do yall think we try to get in on him???

I know 2013 just ended, just never too late to get on the next round of top recruits. From what I know we are going to be fine at DB, but I am looking for DL guys for 2014 class. Lorenzo Carter will be one of the top DL guys for 2014 class.

I believe that I read somewhere that the coaches were high on him.

Why does it seem we offer later than others?

How does 247 have him as the number 3 overall prospect but his composite is >100 that's weird

Good question, i dont think les likes to throw out as many non-committable offers because hes not cold blooded enough to tell someone they got their offer pulled

Scout has him ranked #233. 247/Scout are the only ones with rankings at this point.

lets focus on locking down Gerald Willis first, who is widely considered the best in the nation at his position

I remember reading that for the 2013 Recruiting year, Bama offered 79 out Rivals Top 100. They just carpet bomb scholarships and don't care if a kid gets hurt.

Yeah I am sure he would, being that he is one of the best at his position, but being so late to offer is what I am worried about, too - agree Cinci

I knew it was a lot, but damn, that is incredible.

But for those states and areas that we are heavy in (either pulling kids or at least "hat on table," I would like to put in offers a little earlier. Just my opinion

This goes unsaid (for me at least) a given that we must lock him down. But we need more than 1 DL per class, which I am sure you know. So looking at other top/ premier guys in the areas that we recruit, it is never too early.
