How was the Freeh report wrong again?

The basis of the report is that Paterno knew and did not do enough. I really don't understand what the Paterno clan would like us to believe. That he did go to the police? That he didn't associate with a child molestor after the fact?

All I'm reading in the article is subjective retorts about how the Freeh report made Paterno look bad.

Bottom line, they are pissed his legacy was destroyed. That's it. It's akin to someone killing 50 people and his mother refusing to believe he did anything wrong despite the fact the guy was putting a body under his floor boards when the cops barged in to arrest him.
