Is there a good way to shrink leather boots? (Posted on 2/9/13 at 7:23 pm)
I just bought a good pair of Wolverine leather steel-toe work boots. It was the only pair of boots in the style I liked that they had in the store that were close to my size. They're probably about a half size to a size too big.
Is there a way to go about shrinking them to fit my feet better without ruining the leather? The main issue with the way they're fitting is the heel isn't very snug and is causing them to blister.
Any help from the OB gurus would be much appreciated!

I know its winter, but my dad used to wear his boots into the pool to make them fit his foot. Might try stompin a mud hole and walking it dry so to speak.
