I'd start one, but then you'd start one minutes later w/out first checking the board and yours would be better. So there.

With everybody freaking out of the cap issues, now sounds like a good time as any.

BTW I like Ingram. Think he started to come into his own towards the last half of the season.

He came on strong after the LSU/Bama game last year. Any way we can petition to the NCAA to move that game to earlier in the season?

That was also around the time Ivory was finally activated. Maybe he just needs competition.

November!?!?!

You have absolutely no confidence in this board.

I'll put my money on 5 minutes before the Saints first pick in the draft when some half-assed SEC running back falls to 15.

To help out with our cap issues, why not just trade all our RB's and draft one say in the fourth round. That should save a few bucks.

Pierre needs to restructure or he could be a casualty.

Well that will be day that everyone will really go crazy, the first thread will be during the first pre-season game when his first carry isn't a 99 yard touchdown

Chad I figured you would have been all over this. Them few days in the darkness must of had a profound affect on you. You don't see to be your normal witty self when it comes to an Ingram thread.

youth and potential takes precedence in this...hope he and sproles restructure their contracts

Maybe wrong about this, but I had always thought that their contracts were cap friendly. Maybe someone could enlighten us?

We are currently trying to lay the blame for the current Saints lack of talent last years abortion of a season, hiring of Spags as DC and cap problems on Loomis. For now Ingram will have to take a back seat and just wait.

when the Giants cut Ahmad Bradshaw yesterday I thought a trade Ingram thread was inevitable...

it makes sense dammit!!! His dad played for them

but seriously... it is time for him to put up or shut up.

I get that he is the kind of back who needs more carries as the game goes along but the fact is we have other backs who don't have that problem.

He just has to make the most of his opportunities. When he played at his best last year, don't forget that Kromer had just moved back to coaching the O-line and that the whole running game seemed to get better. The plays that they were running at the time where actually well designed.
