And I still get that same feeling when watching this. LINK What a night that was.

There were still 3 minutes left but for some reason I knew it was over as soon as TP took it to the house. eta: And I admit, it's damn near impossible for me to not get teary-eyed when I watch the reaction videos.

Still get a smile on my face. Being able to call and talk to my Dad after, who sat through all of the shite from 1967 on... just pure joy.

You should feel pretty secure being up 14 with three to go. I was surprised that I was still concerned that we could lose the game after the pick.

Yea, I knew it right after the interception. I ran outside and just took off running down the street screaming. Nothing comes close to that night. I cried like a little bitch. Every person was happy, and it was euphoria. I'm not sure if anything could ever top it.

Watching my grandfather in pure disbelief was the best part of it to me. He's watched the Saints longer than I've been alive. He just sat there with this look on his face and tear in his eye. Made me tear up. Not to mention the emotion I already had. I'm beyond thankful that they won it while he's still around. Can't be replaced.

About 14 hours later, my son was born. Possibly the greatest 24 hour stretch in my life.

My son was born right between the NFCCG and the Superbowl. Had to miss both games, but yes...greatest stretch of time in my life. So far.

Look, I have to throw my marriage and the birth of my 3 other children as candidates for best 24 hours. Ah, who am I kidding, those didnt come with a Saints Superbowl. I now crown it the best 24 hours ever.
