Hey how are you guys gauging the quality of your picks?

Especially this late.

I love the film analysis.

I personally am ranking where the sites have them position wise versus where he comes off the board. For example Hunter Henry was solid 3 or 4 on every site he was drafted 5 on here.

Standish is 6 or 7 I got him in the 9 spot. Too me that means I got a great value for him because he slid a little. He is onside red the 7th best TE.

This is when the draft gets good to me. Once the kids on Rivals, 247, etc are gone. More fun to find kids that aren't highly ranked, and watch them turn into Johnny Manziel......

Dog I have to give you props with Manziel. And that cat out the Mac.

I hope we get 6 sup picks so I can find me one of those studs.

My strategy is I literally look for guys that have physically freakish measurements that aren't highly rated. I also look for guys who are listed at several positions.

I drafted one guy last year...Daniel Perry, a DE for USF that was like 6'8'', 230. We will see if he becomes anything.

That is a great strat. I include stuff like conference they are going to. Style of play. Current development of players. Offer list are huge as well.

But my best late tactic is going after non ranked Louisiana kids. Just like to keep up with them. Drafted Daniel Sams and Ryan Byrd in the sup rounds two years in a row

Is there any chance he plays wr at all?

If not, if say re-pick...

He is a dual threat QB of course there is a chance he'll play WR. Northwestern has a guy right now who plays both WR and QB. Like I said it will make more sense with one of my future picks.

I didn't pick up Ashton Shumpert due to this unwritten code of ethics.

I mean I am okay with it if you feel good about it no money or competition just bragging rights. But try to put the pieces together to make them make sense.

I can actually see a class with two highly rated qbs but then if you draft another one in the supplemental rounds it becomes a hustle and less relalistic.

But I respect you verlander you rep the Tate of Michigan hard so go all in bro.

What is up with Shumpert? Why wouldn't you pick him?
