I have a feeling he will especially with Ware and Ford leaving. We use 4 RBs on a regular basis and you never know with injuries :knockonwood:

That's what happens when you're on a very talented and deep team. Who's touches would you like to sacrifice to get him on the field more? Hill? Blue? Hillard? There's only so many touches to go around.

I would sacrifice Hilliard's touches in a heartbeat to get Magee on the field.

I think Magee will be a 3rd down back due to his good ball skills.

I'd be willing to sacrifice some of Mett's touches, especially considering his pocket presence and lack of ability to move away from traffic when he is in the pocket to avoid a sack.

I would love to see the guy succeed, but he may be better off transferring. He's stuck at the bottom on the depth chart and barring injury, will be there for a while.

And how do you think that's going to sit well with our receivers and our TE recruits? We're already allocating 30+ touches a game to our backs.

I rather satisfy our lead backs(plural) and receivers than try to make sure Magee gets his 4-5 touches a game.

He wants more touches, he's going to have to go hard and leapfrog somone for it. Just like Jeremy Hill did last season. Earn it.

He's buried on the depth chart for a reason. The coaches see these guys in practice every day and know what they can do. He probably doesn't know the playbook that well if he's low on the Totem Pole.

I would replace him with Hilliard... Hiliard has a problem he does good things then he gets to performing sloppy play as he did at Patterson

If we have a new OC with a spine to stand up to Les then there is a chance.

Les just loves small running backs. His opinion of Magee is so high Magee is getting reps at receiver
