Why wouldn't Tunsil and Treadwell not have an offer from LSU?

If they are both willing to go to Ole Miss and are from Florida and IL then I would think LSU could have been destinations as well. Both at positions of need, Big WR and top rated OL.

Freeze had some type of tie to Treadwell, iirc.
RN was important to landing Tunsil.
I'm more interested in why Lawson and Adams went to Auburn and didnt really consider LSU with all the DL we had leave. I guess Auburn being closer to home.

I don't see any reason for Treadwell to go to Ole Miss other than money. I like Hugh Freeze as a coach, but it baffles me that a kid from Chicago would want to play in Oxford, MS with little to no chance of ever reaching the SECCG.
This doesn't make sense. When did choosing a school based off of your BFF become so popular, especially when it's as far away as Oxford, MS?
