I bought one a year back and the thing is amazing. It's the models they were using in Starbucks. It does say refurb, but from my experience, that means the motor/board/display. My sound shield arrived crackled from use and the pitcher was hazy from use. With that said, I'm seriously considering one to store in case mine ever breaks.
