This weekend was a Super Bowl (no pun intended) break from Hornets coverage. Great weekend in NOLA.

Wore a Pelicans t shirt to the actual game. Didn't get much reaction from Baltimore/San Fran fans as I imagine they were pretty glued into the game.

Was disappointed walking around the French Quarter on Sat night and not seeing the Hornets-Wolves game on at any bar. Also tried to start a Hornets chant before the Rebirth concert to no avail.

they probably had no idea what the frick the pelicans were. Maryland ain't got an nba team and SF is to worried about being homosexual

I actually saw one place that had it projected on the wall in an alley way. I thought that was cool but I'm glad I didn't watch it for too long.

This is a pretty good story, exactly what it is. You always know how to tell a story, unbelievable at best, but at least you're trying.

Not sure. I didn't look at the name. I just noticed it as I was walking down the street.

They usually put games up on the building across the street from the bar, so it was just a guess. It's not in the French Quarter, though.

It wasn't there, then. It was in the French Quarter and it was a small alley in between two buildings.

Was it on Bourbon? If so I think I know what you're talking about. I wasn't in New Orleans this weekend. But I remember a bar on Bourbon that had ESPN or something playing via projector in the alleyway.

Yeah, it was on Bourbon. They had 2 projections side by side. The one closest to the street had the Hornets game, and the one to the left of it had some sort of Superbowl-related program on.

I dont like the negative turn this thread is taking.

When I was in the Dome last night I decided they should hang a Pelicans flag in there.
