I really wish they would fix this shite with the zombies glitching through walls and fricking you up. Or at least make them open up doors instead of just glitching through them? How hard can that be to fix. You can't even hid in these industrial areas and get stuff anymore. The update has definitely raised the bar on surviving for long periods of time.

I've kind of interested in playing this game, but I'm not really familiar with PC gaming. What do I need to get started? Will I have to buy anything for my computer? I use a Dell Inspiron.

Easiest way is to download CPU-Z install and run. Post a screenshot of the result screen.

One of my co-workers has convinced me to try this game out, should I get it now or wait until they release the standalone version? Also does anyone know how much the standalone will cost?

I asked the same question on here a few weeks ago and was told not to wait around on the standalone. After looking into it I decided to just get the mod about a week ago. Having a blast playing so far even with the new update. Granted I only played for 3 days before the new update came out it has definitely changed the game. It felt as if the only real threat was other players but now the zombies are way more dangerous and a legit threat.
So I'd definitely say go ahead and get it. There is no solid timetable on the Standalone and from what I hear they are going to take their time getting it right. I have no idea how much it will cost.
