| Best episode of Clone Wars ever.. (Posted on 2/3/13 at 7:37 am)
I just finally saw this weeks Clone Wars and was blown away. This season has really sucked until the new story line (Maul and Mandalor) and it has really kicked up a notch. I don't know how many more seasons are left (maybe one). But watching the Emperor mess everybody up was all worth it.. Anyone else watching the show? It has a horrible time slot (Saturday mornings). But it is the best animated show on tv imo..

Yeah, it's a shame it doesn't get more attention. It is filling in a ton of background for the movies (like Kenobi's love affair with Satine). There are a hundred more stories they could get to as well. I'd rather them take this a step further and set up the new movies with a few seasons post ROTJ. Luke's progression to the dark side, cloning of the Emperor and Han/Leia's kids..

This might be my largest problem with the new trilogy. There were time jumps between Eps 1 and 2 and between Eps 2 and 3. In particular if you didn't watch the original Clone Wars 2 minute episodes (like my Dad), you were lost at the start of Episode 3. Clone Wars is not where they should be setting up the new trilogy, the new trilogy is where they should set up the new trilogy.
