I've seen the entire second season and I remember about half of it because I really had no foundation.

I do have to give it a though. I do wish there was more mystery at the end of some of these episodes.

ill take note. I ran 18 miles today and all I want to do is convalesce on the couch and watch fringe, but noooooo the Super Bowl is in town.

the x-files fell the frick apart after about season 3 or so. i give fringe credit for being able to keep a story going for multiple seasons without jumping the shark or getting stale

I quit on season 3. I see the finale is over---was it wrapped up well? I hated the end of lost, loved the show. Was it like that?

think of how bad the ending of lost was and think what the exact opposite would look like. that will give you a mental picture of how it was wrapped up

Seasons 4-5 was the pinnacle of the x files. Probably just not for you

the problem with the x-files is that they had no idea of an overall arc and it just led to some real convoluted messes of plots
