Isn't 16 the par 3 where the crowd just goes bonkers? Then 17-18 are packed galleries?

Or is that the Hope?

We lived in Tucson at the time and my dad was there when that happened. He said it is one of if not the coolest thing he has ever experienced at a sporting event.

beat some balls yesterday and played 18..had a couple of open face slices wiht the irons and was inconsistent off the tee but was hitting good short/mid/long irons for the most part. shot 88 with four doubles on the front nine. I was encouraged by the better ball striking although I'm still not comfortable yet...I believe the issue is two fold 1) I'm laying the club way too open when I take it back and my lower half is going to soon 2) the pulled muscle/stiffness in my back is prevening my normal full fluid turn so I'm over compensating by finagling my lower body to get the club back where I think it needs to be and that is causing instability.

I think I'm on the way back but I will need to practice a lot for sure to get full confidence...my bad shots are way too bad

Boy there are some dumb asses around here...sitting on patio watching the golfers go by. I hear a cart coming and some big rumble and dude and his teen daughter going "oh man what was that"...somehow ran over their own golf bag. ...then this clueless wonder drives the cart up onto the green to let his daughter out...says, go ahead an putt it out and I'll pick you up. WTF? The weekend hackers ruin it for everyone

I like to say this little prayer,

Hail Mary,
full of grace
the Lord is with thee.
Be with me now,
so I hit it in 3.
Amen

Works 60% of the time.

Crappy Tourney? Lulz.

Played this course 2 years ago week before this tourney. The 16th with the stands...holy ish. I can not imagine having those fans in the stands, has to be intimidating even for the pros.

Damn nice course (tough), the greens were rolling extremly fast...the staff and clubhouse at the course is top notch (club house really nothing, but it is damn great service). One of the best practice greens and driving range I've practiced on.

Other than The Masters, this is the best "tv" tournament of the PGA season

Keegan should start using the correct grip with that putter.
