Having Jeremy Hill as RN's host is simply brilliant...A true freshman in his own right who was so low on the depth charts at the beginning of the season that he couldn't buy time to get on the field during a game; Hill turns out being the Tigers go to man by seasons end. Throwing around thoughts about what the coaching staff expects regarding playing time and the hype of being the big man on campus as a freshman!!!
Then there's big Shaq...Im sure he had his own stories about his time here as a Tiger, the excitement he experienced playing as a freshman here AND how it was when he left early for NBA draft!! This is classic subliminal imagery at its finiest...
In other words, RN this could be you without actually saying it...

May have been good recruiting tactics but he's still going to Ole Miss. Hopefully Shaq will hang out with your son when his time to be a tiger comes.

So that he can say 'I told you so'. These guys prepare to be disappointed if it happens. They enjoy success, but have trouble with a loss. They feel better when they can 'act cool' and say 'I said so'.

Or maybe it was a comment in an existing RN thread. You know, the way it's supposed to be. People can't have opinions on here now? People like that are turning this board into the OT.
If this staff of recruiters think there is a chance, even a 1% chance that we get a guy, who are you to say its a "false hope" when the hope is clearly there.?
That's the point. Making a comment in a thread about feeling we might get an unlikely pickup is no worse than starting a thread just to say everyone who thinks we have a chance is stupid.

I've been pretty clear in my opinions about RN. I think he's going to ole miss. Like most people here. But saying there is a chance =/= saying we think we get him.
I bet a lot of bammers thought there was no chance they got LC.
The thing about it, IF nkemdiche did pick LSU, all you a-holes talking shite get away with a simple "glad I was wrong", if that. Y'all will celebrate like everyone else and the dickish OT behavior on here will go on to next year.

I like that the guy's here and having a good time. Nevertheless, I'm not getting my hopes up. The guy makes his own decision and we just have to respect it. My mental state really can't depend on this guy's decision about where to attend college. Now, keep working the magic and sign him up.
