| Morningland Dairy: Government Tyranny or Consumer Protection? (Posted on 2/1/13 at 11:13 pm)
Dairy had been in business for 30+ years with no complaints. However, Missouri Milk Board raids, destroys products, and effectively bankrupts their family business. Dairy asks board to allow them to test each 40lb block of cheese 100 times, at the business owners expense, and then be able to sell any block of cheese that passes the 100 tests. Board denies them the opportunity. Local law enforcement is also questioned in video if they would confiscate guns in county if told to do so. Article and 2 videos IMO...very sad to see this happening. FYI: first attempt at posting link hoping it works. If not....I know

There is an old saying....You are treated only as bad as you allow yourself to be treated. And citizens of this country are allowing themselves to be treated poorly by the Federal Government. And for what? Food Stamps? Unemployment Benefits? shite Housing? I am sick of government regulation to the point of lunacy. This Federal Government is drunk on power. TSA- Otherwise Unemployable Mall Cops / Fast Food Line Prep Workers- given badges and guns and Carte Blache in the name of Security. Now able to detain, grope, ground, and intimidate people...just because they can. I have to compensate an indigent crack-head's family if I kill him attempting to rob/kill me, but the government will have no obligation to pay these people for their business being destroyed. It is a sad day in this country...but too few care because too few have anything to lose other than a government check for their willing subservience. So, Good Night all....

First they came for our guns and we said nothing. Next they came for our cheese and we said nothing.

Seems like a pretty one-sided story. If everything is accurate in the account, Morningland Dairy should be suing the Missouri Milk Board.

Yeah, the govt. seems to be at war with small, mom and pop operations. Someone posted this here a while back. Sickening. LINK

Why do I think that left out of the article is that they were selling cheese aged less than 60 days? The fault is the laws, but I bet that it's just businesses (regular dairies) using the government to do their dirty work. So it's neither - it's crony capitalism.
