| Deer driving back from Houston last night (Posted on 2/1/13 at 7:23 am)
Between Gonzales and Gramercy on I-10 last night coming back from Houston, I saw 25-30 deer feeding on the side. All between 9:40 and 10:00pm. Just for fun, I checked my i-solunar app, and sure enough, minor movement from 9:45-10:25pm. About 5 bucks, and the rest does, btw. I know :CSB:, but it made me think about how smart those frickers are parading around like that when the season is essentially over.

This time of year they come out the swamp and stay real close to the interstate.

Any gump can shoot deer while sitting still during the day. It takes a true marksman to hit one in the dark while going 65 mph and hanging halfway out the window.

I would have stopped and cut that rack off. If the meat was spoiled.
