Any good courses in these areas?

Laffy:

La Triumph
Wetlands
Oakborne (I think it's member only though)
Squirrel Run

In Lafayette, Les vieux chenes is a good, fairly priced place to play. Realistically, you wont be able to play Oakbourne or Le Triumph but if you are in that fancy kind of mood you can try the Farm, extremely nice course.

Been a member there for a while. Oakbourne is one of my favorite courses to play.

Wetlands, or Farm D'Allie if you want something more challenging. Both better than VC.

There are almost no trees at Wetlands.
