Yeah we have room. I don't understand why we wouldn't offer him or Adam Taylor now.

Who knows. The staff evaluated everyone and offered who they thought were the best prospects for their system.

Maybe he pans out, maybe he doesn't.

I think with Ellis its just a burned bridge.

No. From what i understand, The coaches wanted to get a look at him at camp but his dad saw it as and insult so he never attended. I don't understand why he was so unwilling to allow his son to prove himself at camp. Totally unfair for that kid.

I wouldn't want his dad anywhere near our program, if it means we lose a decent player, so be it

Yea I know his attitude was part of the reason, but with losing Cutrer and talks of Robinson flipping to Miami I think we should have offered him. I see him as a TM7 type of cb.

He seems like he was that peewee coach screaming at 6 year olds and never subbing his son.

How would we know? When was the last time we lost a game because of a key sack? Perhaps our QB held the ball so long because someone else's CB had our guy covered. When was the last time someone else's corner had a key interception or pass defended?

There are no TM7 type of CBs. The guy is an original. You might live out your days without seeing another CB of that type and caliber.
