2013 verbal commitments: 27

Spotlight: Athlete Kendell Beckwith of Jackson, La., was a major addition to LSU's class early this month. He was mostly a dual-threat quarterback in high school, but could play both wide receiver and outside linebacker at the college level. His speed and mobility will help him get on the field early to help the Tigers.

ESPN 150 members: 6 (Beckwith; Jeryl Brazil of Loranger, La.; OT Ethan Pocic of Lemont, Ill; DT Greg Gilmore of Hope Mills, N.C.; TE-H DeSean Smith of Lake Charles, La.; DT Maquedius Bainof Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)

They still think RN is visiting this weekend as well

Well Kipp Adams of ESPN.com reported that he spoke directly with RN and that RN stated to him he was going to take the LSU visit and he was setting up the weekend. Guess Kipp Adams talked with the wrong Nkemdiche, should have spoken to his father or mother. If he spoke to any Nkemdiche at all.

So T. White is not an ESPN 150? That is surprising!

He wasn't even in their top 300 after the "final update." But then they suddenly sneaked him in later.

They call it quits on evaluating players outside the camp circuit that they cover after the initial evaluation (maybe one follow up) and/or don't play in the UA game.

Backup long snapper and starting WR. Hopefully he can push Mett for some PT this year at QB as well

LS is his future IMO. Good ones like beckwith don't come beating down LSU's door very often.

Brazil and rivers will definitely be the best DE tandem in the country. Love that we have Holliday to show them how it's done

I still think Gilmore has a shot at safety with this class being thin there. Don't count him out.
