Tree rat season starts for me Friday at the lease. Went searching for a new Ruger .22 today. Everywhere is out of them. Went to my go to place and they said even where they but them from is out.

I contacted wal-marts, bass pro, pawn shops and Academy in Hammond. All out of stock.

Where to buy one at reasonable price? This sucks when you have that "itch" and money in your pocket.

I couldn't find one either. Ended up buying a .17 HMR bolt action this last weekend, no semi's available. Also plenty of ammo available for it aided my decision even though more expensive. I put a decent scope on it, looking forward to sighting it in this weekend.

If you want a 10/22 you will probably have to order it or hope one comes up for sale on Bayou Shooter or Louisiana Sportsman. Good Luck

I hate all of this sold out crap, I cant find any where I live. The only guns left in the stores are shotguns and revolvers, and no ammo.

Unfortunately this. My dad has been asking me to find one for him for over a month. I finally just gave him one of two I had. Good thing I love that dirty old bastard...

Talked to someone today that said Ruger was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, then shut down operations for SHOT Show for a week or two. Said it would be weeks before new products started trickling in.

Take that with a grain of salt

Damn, I didn't know that. As far behind as they were already, it may be quite a while before you see 10/22s for sale again...except on Gunbroker.

The Sportsman's warehouse in Southaven, MS has several"built" 10\22s.
I ended getting a 17hmr, cause ammo is still on the shelf.
