"My Musical Shame" - A Retrospective (long... but funny)

The "Pop Song" and "Embarrassing Song" threads made me think of this. I had a blog entry called "My Musical Shame" a few years ago. No longer includes a playlist (the place I hosted it is gone) but it included some pop songs. It was all because of Britney.
My Musical Shame
It's official.... Either I'm having a premature midlife crisis or I'm completely off my wheelbarrow or whatever. I am completely disgusted with myself. But in my defense, I WAS TRICKED BY ANIME.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOk, here goes: I like a Britney Spears song.
Stop GASPING!!!! I can feel that!
How did this travesty occur, how did I fall this far from my legendarily amazing musical taste? I was clicking around on Youtube (another gate to hell, by the way) with the sound on mute cuz I was on the phone, ended up hitting on something that looked like a cross between Aeon Flux and me olde favorito Witchblade. Hung up the phone and clicked on the volume and, iknowiknowiknow, thought it sounded pretty cool. Jammed around the living room for a few moments, then caught sight of what I was listening to.
Too late. You might as well take a look:
My Shame - the video
As long as that's on the table, I might as well admit to some other stuff. Below are songs which, for one reason or another, I like. (Explantations included)
1. Break the Ice - We've already been over that
2. The Pussycat Song - Like Tammy Wynette fused with Jenna Jameson in an unholy accident. First time I heard this in high school, shooting pool with my sister - bout put my stick thru the felt.
3. A Lapdance is so Much Better.... - I am a sick person - crack up every time I hear "...name was Russel"
4. & 5. Wow, didn't mean to put 2 of these on here.....
6. The Way I Are - Sounds FANTASTIC in my car.
7. Crazed Country Rebel - More drug references than The Grateful Dead and Cheryl Crowe's combined ouvre all in one song.
8. Watcha Waiting For - Killed the skastefani
9. I Drove All Night - One of my favorite covers. If you've ever seen Cyndi Lauper live - you know what an amazing performer she is.
10. Is Your Love Strong Enough - The Dream Syndicate meets Pink Floyd... from the Legend soundtrack of all things. Pure retro bliss. If you don't think so at first, fast forward it til about a minute to go. Love it....
11. (Who the frick is) Alice - found this way back bout 8 years ago on WinMX listed as "Best Techno Song Ever" ? So wrong... so great (at least listen thru the first "who the frick...) This one is for my peeps in VEGAAAAS!
12. Those Were the Days - my favorite song when I was in 2nd grade. Still like it better than Kenny Rogers and Air Supply.
13. Piss up a Rope - Will forever remind my comrade in arms Jeremy. Also a fine breakup song.
There it is. Only one missing is Gilda Radner "Talk Dirty to the Animals" - couldn't find it anywhere.
If anyone would like to express their musical shame to me, I'm all ears. We can heal together.

Britney is my long standing "Musical Shame". I first became obsessed with her when I saw the music video for I'm A Slave 4 U
From that moment on, I loved everything she did UNTIL she met KFed. Then I was mad at her until she did the My Prerogative video and reeled me right back in.
I'd have to say Beiber is my "new" musical shame. But really he has more talent than britney. At least he sings better and plays multiple instruments.
