I'm not old - not yet 40...but I suspect that this has been going on for a long time. And it's not just politicians. There were plenty of regular middle class americans living way beyond their means helping to pad the inventory of foreclosures. It seems to be a systemic issue. But I'm also glad to continue pointing my finger at the low-life fricks that inhabit the capitol.

The reason that I don't like Hannity is that I come away with nothing that I already did not know. I've been fully aware of everything about Boomtown. Nothing new for me but very instructive for the masses.

I haven't seen this (nor am I really a fan of Hannity) but this doesn't shock me in the least bit. It's quite disgusting, actually.

Good stuff but Hannity is a fricking tool.
Why would he put stuff on his show like this but then refuses to go against the grain and support anyone besides the next dickbag republican that runs. If he was really worried about this he would have backed RP a little more.

The cow is out of the corral, E. The Founders LIMITED government for just this reason; they admitted to themselves that power (money and status) corrupts, and concocted a Document to limit corruption if effect.

Of course, the Catch 22....how do you 'persuade' an IGNORANT individual, especially if they believe that they have a moral right to *equality*. Obviously...we can't. So the transition will require and Authoritarian government for a given period, while the societal fireworks shoot off.
Obama et al plays the musical chairs game; they plan on being the ideological group in power, when the collapse happens. Why do you think he's spending like a drunken sailor, with no plan to stop? But they know that an armed populous will shut their plans down....so...as you see...it's become all about the guns. Herding cats...never works for long. Cats like freedom too much.
Bottom line...corruption 'gets rid' of itself. Strategize for collapse and Authoritarian government to the best of your ability, and watch a fascinating and challenging epoch in human history.

I missed Hannity's show unfortunately.
Every time that I fly into D.C. I am AMAZED at the number of huge homes that I see. Walking around D.C. looking at all of the ornate buildings makes me sick. The place is literally an orgy of our money.
