For anybody considering buying a surplus TTC, the one I got from classic exceeded my expectations. 1955 from Cugir. Excellent finish, bright, shiney bore with sharp rifling. It's still ugly by today's standards, but worth $225. I'll file a range report later.

I think it looks like a P210, a new grip and it could look pretty damn cool

Yeah I'd definitely change th grip. For that price a new grip wouldn't be nuddin but a thang.

That was my thought exactly, except nobody bothered to make a decent aftermarket grip....Hogue, Pachmayr, nobody. If you find one, let me know. I like the rubberized wrap around grips, not much on wood.

I think that is similar to one someone gave me about 15 years ago. Really a good shooting pistol for the money.
