It's not like Bruce Willis got top billing and was the star of those films.

He's a 60 year old action star. Lets not pretend he was ever Brando.

No. He has been in some terrible movies but most of those were still big budget theater releases.

If you actually look at his IMDB page, he's mostly been doing movies where he's an ensemble member, or 2nd billing (aside from the Die Hards and Hostage)

The fact that he is still milking the Die hard series is very B-listish.

Looper is good. Not because of Willis.

Ryno, in my professional opinion you should stop smoking crack. It appears to be inhibiting your brain function.

B List movies are movies that are terrible as far as effects, cost, and the money they make. They're low budget.

All of the Die Hard movies are not that. and Die Hard 5 will make a bunch of money. If movie franchises keep producing a ton of money, they aren't going to quit making them, and by that sheer point, they aren't b movies.

Die Hard 5 disagrees. The guy works. He's old school. Actors in the old days were always working, so long as there was work. Taking a break like Dicaprio is talking about was unheard of.

DiCaprio works his fricking arse off in the movies you see him in. That's why he and his films get so much praise.

I can't name half the movies Bruce has been in over the last decade because he's been in so many piece of shite films.

Yeah Bruce works so hard like Cage and 75% of their body if work for a while now is forgettable and garbage.

Leo, on the other hand, has already built up a legendary résumé before turning 40. That right there is hard, quality work.

I like DiCaprio and think he has talent. However, I have to say that he is not quite deserving the jizz fest he receives on this board from time to time. And while Willis doesn't have infinite "range", he does what he does very well. And not just "action movies".

A man by the name of Daniel Day-By God-Lewis says hello.

the most legit and best actors take breaks and are selective about their roles. its hard to take an actor serious if they take every other offer thrown at them and are in 3+ films every year.

On another board, you might say that DiCaprio can't carry Day-Lewis' jock.

I wouldn't say B movie guy, but if you check your local redbox, you will find he has been a lot of straight to DVD stuff lately.

He's still in the upper echelon of "action" stars and we've seen that genre make a pretty decent comeback over the last few years. Sometimes the whole action genre can appear to be "b-like" and a few of these movies do go straight to DVD. But I wouldn't say Bruce Willis is anywhere close to being a B movie guy. This dude is an A-lister and he's got a few big blockbusters due out over the next few years as well as some recent ones.

He makes movies that people watch as opposed to art film BS. That's not B-movies.

No the hierarchy of this board is as follows. Never EVER say a bad word about DDL. Then Dicaprio>JGL. Then all other actors.
