Is HIMYM still a good show?

I haven't watched in years, but I started watching season 1 on netflix and it was great. Last time I watched a new one it was very meh. Is it any good or just recycled jokes at this point? And if it isn't as good, what happened.

I stopped watching a year ago. Same old storyline rehashed every other way.

Last season was pretty stale, but this season has actually had some funny/clever episodes

Not as great as it was in the middle seasons, but the current one is the best of the last few imo. Last couple episodes or so have had more plot advancement towards meeting the mother than the last several seasons

Not really, but the last few episodes have been pretty solid. At this point I've watched this far, might as well finish it

Its really more the "How Barney Got Married" show.

Gone way down hill in the last few years to the point that the only episode ill watch is the series finale

Like I said, I haven't watch in a few years but Barney used to be awesome.
