Marvel Phase 3 characters confirmed

I assume Thor 3, Captain America 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will also be a part of this.

So they're further exploring the scientific and magical corners of the Marvel Movieverse? I can dig it.
As Ant-Man is to Iron Man and Dr Strange is to Thor, I wish we'd see a Black Panther movie to compliment Capt America. Maybe we'll get a Nova movie spinning out of GotG?

Marvel's trying to get Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey for GotG. Not sure how that's gonna turn out.

I'd take that with a grain of salt. Literally, every "hot" actors name was floated around as being attached and now we're hearing that too.
Zach Levi's name was the one I was most excited about.
I love that GotG is getting this kind of attention though.

I thought Ant-Man was in Phase 2 so he could be in Avengers 2.

Unless Avengers 2 is Phase 3?
They need a new character for Avengers 2. Either they introduce someone IN the movie or the movie comes right after the new character film.
Also, I'm going to guess they are running into diversity troubles, or at least will. Ant-Man and Dr. Strange? Let's add 2 more white dudes. No way the studio let's them do that.

ETA: I believe The Avengers movies are the endpoint for all Phases.
according to the article Ant-Man comes out in the fall after Avengers 2. I suspect the GotG will be in the Avengers 2 and the phase 3 lineup will have Namor (if he belongs to Marvel Studios) and Panther.
I was hoping for a S.H.I.E.L.D spy movie, but maybe a Ms.Marvel or Luke Cage movie?

Whedon's heading up a SHIELD spy show which just started filming and there's rumors that Heroes For Hire may get a shot in some Phase.

They're introducing Falcon in Captain America 2. Not sure if they'll put him in A2 though.
But Luke Cage and Black Panther need to come in to the story somewhere.

If they could stick to the Lee/Ditko origin story for Dr. Strange it would be great. The first few stories still hold up great and are creepy as hell. Especially the ones with Nightmare.
