The Pelicans are getting a lot of hate but at least it's unique and is actually a badass bird. It's not a generic feline or weather term (Thunder, Heat). Is there a team name in the NBA that everyone can agree is a decent name?

Probably biased but i really do think the laker name and design is the best.

Laker is one of the worst.
Laker? Seriously? It sounds retarded. If the hornets were rebranding as the bayouers, or swampers, they would get tons of shite.

I like the Pelicans name. It's just annoying for ESPN to make fun of it and everyone to laugh at it, without realizing the NBA is full of terrible team names much worse than Pelicans
