Nice, this kid has a ridiculous amount of potential. It's tough for kids in that part of the state to get any decent exposure with Natchitoches and Alexandria being the only towns with more than 10k people within an hour.

I agree, too. I don't really care about stars and class rankings and stuff, but he's a young competitor and likely wanted those bumps that never came...he went to a few camps and outperformed every other WDE there AFTER committing to LSU. He didn't need to do any of that, but he did, and he risked injury and even possibly getting his offer pulled by doing so.
Hard work should pay off. Quick...someone tell the government and teachers unions across the country this!
