Kicker question?

Hello, guys! I'm new of course and follow y'all and the topics are good reading. My question is the Garrett Hartley guy is a questionable kicker, not impressed at all even though he made the kick that led to a Super Bowl. 
Tulane's kicker is really impressive and looks to be the real thing. I know the Saints have had to taken notice. Do they draft him late and hope no other team hadn't noticed which I think will be doubtful or they they just try and sign him as a free agent??

No. Kickers aren't crazy enough to come out early unless they're Brad Wing

Don't draft a kicker, pick him up as a UDFA

He's won every award there is this past season. I thought he would come out to get paid. Free agency or draft. The Saints drafted Morestead so I thought they may roll the dice on him as well because Hartley is a gamble.

well, the defense will be atken care of no doubt, but I figured they take this kicker with a 6th round pick or something.

yea i mean you never know we might find some colston type defensive guy in that later round. kickers arent the position that have people that just suddenly explode onto the scene in the nfl out of college where they were a relatively unknown.

as long as the kicker can hit 90%+ under 40 yards that's all I ask for. I don't expect someone to consistently have a blair walsh year with 10/10 for 50yards+

Not sure of where Sea Bass would have gone, but at least he's been "worth" it for the Raiders. I would never want to see the Saints draft a kicker higher than a late pick, but ole Al did his thang.

Ya, I wouldn't mind seeing every pick go for D unless they can get a nice OL pick.
