Help me settle an argument about Jaws

My friends and I are arguing the primary genre that Jaws fits in.
I say horror and they are lambasting me.
What are other movies that the genre could be argued about? Discuss, argue, etc.

Action/Adventure would be a sub-genre of Jaws, but the main genre(s) are Horror/Suspense.

The first one was horror. Jaws 3 and 4 were comedies.

It feels more like a western to me than a action/adventure movie.

The second half has an adventure feel with the whole Moby Dick thing going.
